  • Affirmation

    emotional support or encouragement; often a statement created during moon ceremonies to aid in manifestation or release

  • Air Sign

    An element that gives a sign the ability to communicate and expands mental energy (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

  • Ascendant

    The first impression that we make. It is what attracts people to us and showcases our personality.

  • Aspects

    An aspect is an angle that planets make to each other in the Horoscope; as well as to the Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, Lower Midheaven, and other points of astrological interest.

  • Astrology

    the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world.

  • Birth Chart

    AKA the “natal chart”; a snapshot of the sky at the exact time and place you were born; shows planetary signs, placements and aspects

  • Cardinal

    A mode indicating beginnings, initiator (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)

  • Chiron

    An asteroid that is represented as the wounded healer; this placement shows our deepest wound, our healing powers that we can give to others but have difficulty giving to ourselves; our life experience

  • Conjunction

    Planets that are 0 degrees apart.

    This aspect feels like a blending of energy and expression, being united, supportive, acting together, may be a blind spot

  • Earth Sign

    An element that gives a sign practicality and grounding energy (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

  • Emotional Weather Forecast

    The positions and placement of the daily moon sign and the way it impacts the general mood or vibe of all people

  • Ephemeris

    Latin word meaning "diary" that shows the planetary positions at any given time. Often found in a table format that lists all planets.

    When a placement on your birth chart shows up within the house and sign that the placement is ruled; indicates a prominent energy

The word horoscope is derived from the Greek words ōra and scopos meaning "time" and "observer".
